Extended Modelling Operations
- Reduce Operation
Reduces the number of faces and points in an object while maintaining object detail. In
the example below an imported object had its point count reduced from 6000 to 1000 with
little affect on the shape of the object.
- Clone Operation
- Split Point Operation
- Tip Operation
- Triangulate Operation
- Bevel Operation
- Bulge Operation
- Flatten Operation
- Mirror Operation
- Shear Operation
- SnapScale Operation
- Unwrap Operation
Used to create a texture that can be painted in a Paint program and applied to an object.
- UV Map Operation
Permits manipulation of texture wrapping coordinates.
- Solidify Operation
- Optimize Operation
- Weld Operation
Used to weld two or more points into a single point.
- Shift Operation
Provides more flexibility than shifting with the Shift Tool including the ability to apply
a rotational shift.
- Center Operation
Improves accuracy over using the Shift tool for centering objects on their frame.
- Twist Operation
- Bridge Operation
Creates a bridge between two selected faces. This
operation can also be used to create a tunnel through an object by
selecting faces that are on opposite sides of the object.
- Chamfer Operation
Chamfers points and edges. Once you have chamfered a point or edge you
can increase or decrease the chamfer by shift-scaling with the
Edit Control.
- Mirror Operation
Mirrors an object along an axis.
- Weld-Nearest Operation
Welds the nearest point to the
selected point.
- Weld-To-First Operation
Welds all selected points to
the first point selected.
- Weld-To-Nearest Operation
Welds a selected point to the nearest point.
